how you can get involved

How it works

Collect 10c containers

Return to a location

Earn a refund or donate

Fundraise for your cause

The scheme provides charities, community groups, environmental organisations, sports groups and educational organisations with new and easy ways to raise funds.

1

Receiving donations from the community – Victorians can choose to pocket their refund or donate to a participating donation partner

We encourage listed groups and organisations to register with CDS Vic to promote and share you’re open for donations from the Victorian public.

2

Initiate a collection drive – receive containers from the community

If you have the space, you can choose to become a donation point. Let your supporters and volunteers drop their 10c containers off at your location, so you can return them and collect the refund for your group.

3

Run a refund point as a business

To express your interest in running a refund point, contact the Zone Operator who is appointed to your local area. In Victoria, we have three Zone Operators: TOMRA Cleanaway, Visy and Return-It.
